Introduction

As antibody discovery and cell line development workflows evolve, researchers need advanced tools in their quiver to aid in faster, and more accurate decision-making processes in their respective research disciplines. Cyto-Mine® Chroma, the next-generation solution from Sphere Bio, enhances the ability of detecting the top cells of interests with the addition of three addition laser and detection channels. Paired with microfluidic pico-droplet technology, the system allows for interrogation of more complex biological questions across millions of cells making it easier to select cells with high specificity and increased confidence. 

This study demonstrates the accuracy of Cyto-Mine® Chroma in functional bioassays, focusing on a 4-color serial gating and sorting validation. These results highlight how advanced fluorescence detection can improve screening efficiency, particularly for complex targets like surface membrane proteins.
