Cyto-Cellect® Mouse (Mouse IgG Detection Kit)

Specifically designed to be used with Cyto-Mine® technology, the Cyto-Cellect® Mouse Assay Kit identifies whole-molecule mouse IgG secreted by cells encapsulated in picodroplets . Fluorescent probes in the kit bind to mouse IgG post-secretion from these encapsulated cells.

Used in combination with Cyto-Mine® platforms, this kit offers a rapid assay to measure productivity by detecting secreted IgG, facilitating the identification and selection of cells with the highest productivity.

Description

Overview

Overview

Confidently identify your top producing clones—fast. Cyto-Cellect® Mouse is a ready-to use, FRET-based assay that detects secreted whole-molecule mouse IgG at the bulk, or single cell level. The kit is designed for use with Cyto-Mine® technology.

The kit’s fluorescent probes are encapsulated with the cells of interest inside picodroplets. As protein secretion occurs, the probes bind to specific regions of the antibody near each other, allowing for the generation of a measurable FRET signal. The result? Rapid and highly sensitive insights into productivity.

Who is it for?

  • Antibody Discovery (Abd) Teams – Select high-yielding, stable clones with confidence.
  • CDMOs & BioPharma Companies – Accelerate therapeutic development.

How it works

Cyto-Cellect® Mouse uses a FRET-based detection mechanism to quantify IgG secretion from individual cells (primary mouse cells or hybridomas secreting mouse IgG). During Cyto-Mine® platform operation, each cell is encapsulated in a picodroplet alongside specific fluorescent probes (donor and acceptor probes). When a cell secretes IgG, the probes bind in close proximity, forming a ternary complex on the secreted antibody. When interrogated on the Cyto-Mine® platform, the fluorescent donor probe in this complex is excited and transfers energy to the acceptor probe resulting in a shift in fluorescent signal. This shift in signal enables for the measurement of cell productivity aiding in the clone selection process.
